Phakchok Rinpoche

The seventh Phakchok Rinpoche was born on 25/5/1981 to Tseke Chokling, a descendant of great Chokgyur Lingpa, and Dechen Peldon.

Later on he was enthroned as the seventh reincarnation of Phakchok Trulku of Taklung monastery. He studied monastic liturgy and ritual, and Tibetan literary sciences till the age of fifteen. At the advice of his grandfather he joined Dzongsar Shedra and studied with Khenpo Kunga Wangchuk and Khenpo Rinchen till the age of twenty one, receiving the title of Khenpo from HH Dalai Lama.

Currently he looks after and teaches at Kanying Shedrup ling in Kathmandu and around the world. He also directs humanitarian activities through Chokgyur Lingpa Foundation.
