2018 Dzongsar Monlam Notification

This is for all the teachers and students of DKCLI, and devotees, in India and abroad.

Dzongsar Monlam started in 2006, under the Bodhi tree, in Bodhgaya, the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Since then, Dzongsar Khyentse Chokyi Lodro Institute has been organizing it biennially. This year, Dzongsar Monlam is scheduled from 6/11/2018 to 15/11/2018. It will be presided over by Kyabje Dungsey Avikrita Vajra Rinpoche, Kyabje Abhaya Vajra Rinpoche and Kyabje Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche. The gathering will recite Samantabhadra’s Prayer for Excellent Conduct one hundred thousand times. Kyabje Dzongsar Khyenste Rinpoche has kindly granted the request to bestow teachings for three days, during the Monlam.
